100% GRASS-FED BEEF

2024 Beef is now Sold Out

These cows are born and raised here, 100% Grass-Fed and then butchered right on our farm which eliminates a lot of stress for them. They are then taken to Byron Center Meats for processing. Beef is available by the 1/4, 1/2, and whole. Quarters are done as “mixed quarters” so that you receive cuts from both the front and hind quarters. We do our best to finish the cows with a hanging weight of 400-600 lbs on a whole. Beef is $7.75/lb hanging weight, this includes all processing fees.

Be sure to check the farmstore for beef cuts!

Our pigs are raised in a grassy, wooded pasture where they can dig and rut and roll in the mud. In addition to their pasture, they are supplemented with a feed mix containing local, non-gmo grains.

Pastured Pork

2024 Pork Info Coming Soon!

The pigs are butchered and processed locally in the fall when the grazing season ends. They are available as 1/2 or wholes and can be picked up at Byron Center Meats.

The estimated hanging weight is 150-200 lb for a whole pig and $6.00/lb hanging weight, this includes all processing fees (2023 price).

The chickens are raised on rotational pastures with access to hoop structures for protection at night and during inclement weather. In addition to unlimited grass and insects, the chickens are supplemented with local organic grains, vitamins, and minerals.

Pastured Chicken

Now Taking Order for June and October 2024 Chickens!

We are very excited to partner with Niki Kalvaitis from Sister Hawk Farm!

Niki will be raising all of our broilers this year. She does a phenomenal job, raising the birds on lots of open pasture and local organic feed. We did a taste test comparison of Niki’s chickens and our chickens, and we couldn’t tell the difference. She even received some of the best praise from our shared butcher last year when they exclaimed that Niki’s chickens were the best-looking chickens they had seen all year!

We’re also very excited that this partnership will allow us to lower our per-pound price making these chickens a fantastic way to stock your freezers with premium-quality protein!

The chickens will average 5-6 lbs each, costing $8.50 per pound.
