Free Guide: 10 Questions to Ask When Choosing a Raw Milk Farmer

Hey there! I hope you and your family are doing well and staying healthy!

We’re doing good here on the farm, always staying busy and constantly looking for ways to up our self care game.

I always like to try to “supercharge” some of the foods that we might otherwise consider guilty pleasures!

For an added boost, I’m sneaking in extra Real Salt, Grass-Fed Butter, Grass-Fed Ghee, Coconut Oil, Raw Milk, Garlic, Local Raw Honey, Blackstrap Molasses, Bone Broth, and veggies any time I can.

Last night felt like it should be a comfort food type of night, so I made one of the kids’ favorite meals, Sloppy Joe and Mac & Cheese.  We served up the sloppy joe on homemade sourdough sandwich bread and had green beans that grandma and grandpa canned from their garden along with it.

With all the little extras I was able to sneak, I felt pretty darn good about this comfort food nourishing not only our hearts but also our bodies!

Check out these tricks I used to supercharge our meal:

Sloppy Joe-

  • I added in extra portions of the veggies and added a few stalks of chopped celery

  • I sauteed the veggies in a healthy dollop of Grass-Fed Ghee

  • I doubled the Garlic

  • I replaced the brown sugar with Local Raw Honey and Organic Blackstrap Molasses (I triple this recipe so I used a little less than ½ cup of honey and 1 tbsp molasses)

  • I used Real Salt which is loaded with minerals

Mac & Cheese

  • I doubled the butter (grass-fed)

  • I used mineralizing Real Salt

  • I used bone broth to hydrate the noodles instead of water

  • I used Fresh Raw whole milk

I’ll drop my favorite Sloppy Joe and Mac & Cheese recipes down below for you.  If you have tricks you’re using to supercharge your families favorite meals, drop me a line, I’d love to hear all about them!

Sending out prayers that you and your family are well!

This is an easy recipe to make and it freezes well.

I will often make a double or triple batch and freeze the extra, then when I know I have a busy day coming I'll thaw some for a super quick dinner.

This also keeps well for several hours in a Crock-Pot (or Instant Pot) on warm if you need to make it in advance for dinner later that day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Six S Dairy Ground Beef

  • 1 T. Butter

  • 1/2 Yellow Onion

  • 1/2 Green Pepper

  • 1 Clove Garlic

  • 2 t. Yellow Mustard

  • 3/4 c Ketchup

  • 2 T. Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 t. Salt

  • 1/4 t. Black Pepper

  • 1 T. Worcestershire Sauce

Steps:

  • Place the first 5 ingredients into a large saucepan and cook until beef is browned.

  • Stir in the remaining 6 ingredients and heat until warm.

  • Serve on hamburger buns.

Enjoy!

2 tsp Salt

4 cups Chicken Bone Broth

2 cups Shredded Raw Cheddar Cheese

1 cup Six S Dairy Raw Milk or Cream

Steps:

Cook on manual high for 4 minutes

Manual quick-release pressure

Take the lid off and set the pot on saute

Stir in cream and then add cheese

Stir until cheese is melted and well combined

Enjoy!
